VBA Club

If you have attended any VBA courses with us you will know that there is so much to VBA that you will only learn if you keep using it!  Hence our thoughts on creating a club.

For £10 + VAT a month you will receive a minimum of 3-4 scenario exercises per month with the solutions sent to you by the end of the month.  The aim is for you to try to solve the problem yourself and then compare what you've produced with our version and thereby get practise in as well as continue to learn!

These scenario's will not be limited to what you have learned on one of our courses.  They will cover all levels of VBA, including how to send emails from Excel, or connect to an Access database to grab some data for your spreadsheet!

If you have any specific macros that would make life easier for you then you are welcome to submit this to us as one of the scenarios.

You do not have to attend any VBA courses with us in order to join, but it would help you to at least attend Excel VBA - Level 1.  The exercises will be a steady practise of what you have learned in Level 1, but will also start to move through the levels, getting LMGly more difficult.

Scenarios are sent out on the 1st of the month, and solutions sent out on the 20th.

Some sample scenarios include:

• Deleting duplicate data
• Clearing formatting
• Copying cells and pasting values over the cells
• Sending emails from Excel
• Getting user input to set parameters of macros
• Saving a spreadsheet to PDF (Software needed)
• Inserting sheets and naming them based on data in your list (getting a unique list)
• Using ADO Recordsets
• Using Arrays
• ... and loads more!
