The Successful Assessment Centre
Course Outline

DURATION 1 day
PREREQUISITES None
WHO'S THIS FOR? If you have never experienced an Assessment Centre, or have attended some but not had a good experience, then this workshop is designed to enable you to identify what steps you need to take to prepare for the assessment process and put yourself in the best position for a successful future Assessment Centre.  This one-day interactive workshop is ideal for anyone who is currently unemployed or looking for their next career move and will be expected to go through an assessment process in the near future.
WHAT'S THE POINT?

More and more organisations in the UK are turning to fairly sophisticated selection methods, such as psychometric testing and assessment centres.  These are designed to give candidates a number of opportunities to demonstrate how they might perform within the role.  However, they can be a nerve-wracking experience for anyone who has not been through the process before.  Based on 10 years of experience designing and delivering Assessment Centres, this workshop de-mystifies the process and gives you real pointers on how to prepare yourself for being assessed.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR ME? In the workshop, you will gain an understanding of what Assessment Centres are looking to identify and what exercises to expect.  You will be given opportunities to practice some of the exercises and will be given individual feedback to enable you to approach the activities in your Assessment Centre with the right frame of mind.  Far from giving you the ‘right answers’ to help pass an exam, this workshop gives you the required tools to enable you to demonstrate what you are able to do and feel confident in what you are able to deliver within the Assessment process.
